I’d like to kick off this main series with an overview of the games themselves and then follow up with a more detailed look at each game in its own episode. However, I personally see so much misinformation and just all out crazy beliefs being shared about the series I couldn’t help but try and put the record straight. On the surface this series seems simple enough to collect. The premise is almost always the same with a scissor wielding villain stalking groups young girls. A series that has risen to popularity with collectors in recent years is the Clock Tower series. Although I collect just about everything from classic microcomputers to arcade systems one of my favourite areas of collecting has always been horror games. I’ve always tried to keep the focus of this show on collecting rather than just reviewing games. Greetings and welcome to this special 6 part miniseries of the show.

Now, maybe you all already know this, but if you look for ps1 eboot fixes for the vita you mostly find people saying that games requiring popsloader will never work on vita, which is mostly true, however by setting the compression level to 1 in psx2psp clock tower (and other games mentioned by Gensosuikoden in that post) actually boots! I can't say for sure if it's bug free as i haven't played the game yet, but the beginning works fine.Clock Tower Series Retrospective Part 1: Clock Tower Chronology This was the last game i needed, so i searched for fixes online, tried to edit the iso itself, using the japanese psn title id, nothing worked, until i stumbled upon this thread: the english patched version just wouldn't work, it always booted to a black screen. Clock Tower TFF however, Despite having an official release on the japanese psn, was trickier to run with adrenaline. For Crash Bash the solution was to simply use the ntsc-u version, instead of the pal version i was trying to use for my eboot.
